As we stand on the threshold of a new year, I find myshereelf eschewing the traditional practice of crafting New Year's resolutions. Instead, I've adopted a practice that resonates deeply with me—a guiding word to set the tone for the months ahead. This year, my chosen word is 'Enough.'

In a world that often bombards us with notions of insufficiency, 'Enough' serves as a gentle yet powerful reminder that we are, in fact, more than adequate. It encapsulates the essence of self-worth, abundance, and the fundamental understanding that, at our core, we are enough. I believe this sentiment extends universally—to me, to you, and to every individual navigating the complexities of life.

The question that underlies my choice of 'Enough' is multifaceted. Do we have 'enough' of what we truly need in our lives? It's a contemplation that transcends the material and delves into the emotional and spiritual aspects of our existence. It's a lens through which I intend to view not just my personal journey but also the broader landscape of the world we inhabit.

In the realm of sufficiency, I've come to the realization that I've had 'Enough'—enough of the negativity that often permeates our surroundings, enough of the undue pressure to conform to societal expectations, and enough of elements that don't contribute positively to my life. 'Enough' signifies drawing a line where necessary, a commitment to fostering an environment that aligns with my values and nurtures growth.

As a public speaker deeply passionate about inspiring and empowering women, 'Enough' takes on a communal dimension. It extends to the collective yearning for empowerment, equality, and the recognition that every individual has 'enough' within them to effect change. It becomes a rallying cry for building communities where every voice is heard, every story is valued, and every person realizes their intrinsic worth.

In the spirit of camaraderie, I invite you to ponder your own guiding word for the year. What resonates with you? What encapsulates your aspirations and intentions for the months ahead? Share your word with me—I'd love to embark on this journey of self-discovery and growth together.
